This time its all about second chances: using a documentary-project as a tool for social impact, MakeSense and Chasing Bonnie & Clyde are partnering up to organize a batch of recorded and filmed MakeSense Rooms around the world.
The goal is to use extracts from this documentary directed by Olivier Lambert & Thomas Salva during the MKS Room, in order to provide a framework to the debate on how to support (ex) delinquents to re-integrate society. Just like the example described in the documentary, there are local social business solutions in Berlin. This MKS Room in Berlin showcases these examples to the audience and provides the innovators with a platform to present their project and address their challenges.
Just like the example described in the documentary, there are local social business solutions in Berlin. Germany has many reinsertion programs but the concept of second chances is far from being truly embraced. What is missing?
This MKS Room in Berlin showcases an upcycling project with delinquents/ex-delinquents, as well as a theatre project that enable ex-delinquents to re-re-connect with society and tear down walls between prisons and the “real world”.
Gala Faye is the artist who enlightened this Room with her soft voice.
