Why a donor circle for makesense?<\/h1>\n

Since launching makesense, over 200,000 citizens<\/strong> have created and \/ or supported 8,000 grassroots initiatives<\/strong> to build inclusive and sustainable societies. In 2019 we had 40,000 citizens engaged<\/strong> because of our incredible volunteer community organizers. <\/p>\n

We\u2019ve been supported by incredible partners, who believe in the power of communities<\/strong> to lead the change and build better societies; who believe in makesense\u2019s community-organizing model to engage millions of people in creating sustainable communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\t<\/div>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n

What\u2019s happening now?<\/h3>\n

In March 2020, we launched our COVID-19\u00a0re_action program<\/a>\u00a0engaging 50 volunteers in the first week.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

We now have\u00a06,500 volunteers<\/strong>\u00a0mobilized across the world, in six focus areas with an emphasis on senior citizens and frontline workers who supported 70,000 people in need.\u00a0<\/p>\n

We continue to develop the program in a number of countries including the Philippines and Mexico activating\u00a010,000 volunteers<\/strong> around the world by January to impact 150,000 people. This is an exciting milestone as we focus on exponential growth of the makesense platform.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
