Why a donor circle for makesense?

Since launching makesense, over 200,000 citizens have created and / or supported 8,000 grassroots initiatives to build inclusive and sustainable societies. In 2019 we had 40,000 citizens engaged because of our incredible volunteer community organizers.

We’ve been supported by incredible partners, who believe in the power of communities to lead the change and build better societies; who believe in makesense’s community-organizing model to engage millions of people in creating sustainable communities.

What’s happening now?

In March 2020, we launched our COVID-19 re_action program engaging 50 volunteers in the first week.

We now have 6,500 volunteers mobilized across the world, in six focus areas with an emphasis on senior citizens and frontline workers who supported 70,000 people in need.

We continue to develop the program in a number of countries including the Philippines and Mexico activating 10,000 volunteers around the world by January to impact 150,000 people. This is an exciting milestone as we focus on exponential growth of the makesense platform.
